session focuses on different practical techniques for gathering the kinds of
information from your business community that are necessary as input to
documenting high quality data architecture and incremental design deliverables.
In addition to reviewing examples of techniques employed from actual case
studies, we will take a look at how to determine which technique is right for
what situation and how to estimate, plan and coordinate the tasks across the
enterprise to ensure the right involvement from the business community.
This
session builds assumes a general awareness of group facilitation techniques and
business process modeling & data modeling disciplines.
Participants
are encouraged to bring questions and real-life experiences to share during the
session.
